For years, I have tried to play an active roll in my Children's lives. Due to the mothers wishes, I am unable to see my daughters even though I live five minutes away in the same school district/county of berks. Instead she gives the children to alternative care takers, rather than allowing them to be with me. The family law system is built to ignore the Father in every way except collecting child support (which I have never missed a payment). Despite living in a home that is better for the children, working a career that will provide more for the children, and actively participating in their sports and hobbies, I am only allowed to see them for 50 days of the year due to a custody order that was put in place when they were babies 8 years ago. It has taken me thousands of dollars and years of time to attempt to increase my time with them, still with no success. The family law system simply doesn't care. Lets put them on notice that our children need both parents in their lives!
