No Sugar Cane Legos!

Legos has announced plans to make a new line of "Sustainable Legos" made from Sugar Cane. The growing of Sugar Cane is not sustainable. The bi/tri-annual flushing of the fertilizers from Sugar Cane fields is killing the everglades and our estuaries. Runoff and flushing is responsible for Toxic algae blooms and giant fish kills. Toxic red and green tides are fed by the flushing and runoff. The everglades cannot be replaced. Tell Legos to use hemp, bamboo or something else sustainable but not sugar cane. Sugar Cane Growing is not sustainable agriculture.
