They Want To Pave Paradise

Our National Forests are under threat.

For nearly 20 years, around one third of these forests have been protected from development by the Roadless Area Conservation Rule, which works to protect the proliferation of roads and development in our pristine National Forests.

But last February, Utah filed a petition asking the U.S. Forest Service to give an exemption from its rules and allow logging roads and development on 4 million acres of National Forest land, extraordinarily beautiful land prized by hikers, hunters, birders, backpackers, and others.

Please sign this petition if you agree that Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue must reject Utah's petition and continue the proud tradition of the United States of protecting remarkable places that not only give us all memories to last a lifetime, but also support local economies.
