Stop Sign

I would like to start a petition to have a stop sign placed on the corner of Princeton Street and Concord Street. There have been several bad accidents because cars are traveling at a very high rate of speed on Princeton Street because there are no stop signs from Ashley Boulevard to Acushnet Avenue and there are many children playing on this street and several accidents, including one today. Our neighbors feel if there is a stop sign the traffic will have to slow down on this street. I have witnessed cars traveling at 60 mph down this street. Today, a driver was traveling at a high rate of speed down Princeton street and a neighbor yelled to the driver slow down, the driver flipped him off and seconds later he plowed into a large SUV on Concord Street and both vehicles had to be towed. Something needs to be done on this street immediately.
