Impact of Immigration on Families and Communities

We are a group of Waukegan High School students who are deeply concerned about the negative impact that immigrants face when migrating from another country to Waukegan. Immigrant families experience harsh treatment from strict laws that don't allow them to live in peace but rather in fear. Our group wants the Waukegan City Council to further enforce Resolution 25-R-281 which bans federal immigration agents like ICE from conducting operations on city owned property.
