Bring Ice Cream trucks (mobile vending) back to Seaside Park NJ

Ice cream trucks and other food vendors were a part of Seaside Park for many decades.  In 2010 the township made some changes.  The current ordinance blocks mobile vendors from accesing the beach (for arbitrary reasons).  I am requesting that the town allow ice cream trucks to have access to the beach for vending purposes.  I will help construct a revised ordinance that will benefit the community as well as vendors.  The ice cream man at the Jersey Shore is part of the summer time culture.  It's time to bring him back to the beaches of Seaside Park NJ!

Dear Mayor and Council,

We would be very interested in conducting beach vending ice cream sales within your township.  Your township beaches have not allowed vendors to access the beach since 2013.   Please reconsider your ordinance and open up the discussion.   Ice Cream, Italian ice, and other refreshments are an asset to beach communities throughout the Jersey Shore.  The demand is there. This also provides another revenue stream for the township.    My company is a member of the International Association of Ice Cream Distributors and Vendors.  We run a very professional operation.

Thanks for your support! Please share with friends and family especially if you spend time at the Seaside Park beach. Let the Seaside Park mayor and council know what an enjoyable experience the vendors at the beach were. Iconic, history, culture and tradition are some of the things I think of when experiencing a truck at the beach.
