Community Support for Access to SCOLA News & News Talk Programs via Cox Cable

SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that receives and re-transmits local television programming from more than 140 countries in more than 170 native languages with the mission of facilitating cultural understanding and language learning.
Although we have a diverse range of educational programs and partners, one of the ways in which we fulfill our mission is by re-transmit local, authentic News and News Talk Programs from around the world via local Cox Cable Stations. Through this arm of our operation, immigrant communities and non-English speakers keep up to date on important news which encourages and insures better civic engagement and helps immigrant and refugee communities maintain an active connection to their native country's affairs and politics.
Currently Cox Cable broadcasts our programming in two markets, Omaha, NE and Cleveland, OH, however we are working to expand our cable broadcasting to other Cox Cable markets. To do so we need to garner the support of local ethnic institutions and community organizations who understand the value of having access to these programs in their communities.
You can help bring our valuable service to your community simply by encouraging your members to sign below and demonstrate their support to expanded distribution of SCOLA’s News and News Talk broadcast to your area.
