Call for Clemency in Amir Tataloo’s Sentence – A Plea for Justice and Redemption

    We, the undersigned, emphasize the importance of justice and human rights and request the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran to reconsider the sentence issued for Mr. Amir Hossein Magsoudloo (Tataloo).

    Over the past months, he has openly expressed regret for his past mistakes and declared his sincere repentance. In Islamic teachings, sincere repentance and behavioral reform lead to a reduction or even forgiveness of punishment. Therefore, we request that an opportunity for reform and reintegration into society be granted to him.

    We believe that true justice should be based on humanity and the opportunity for individuals to rebuild their lives, not on revenge and permanent punishment.

    Our demands are:
    - Halt the execution and review the sentence;
    - Apply Islamic principles of justice for reducing the punishment;
    - Grant an opportunity for reform and reintegration into society for Mr. Magsoudloo.

    We call for justice based on sincere repentance and the opportunity for personal reform. Please hear our voice and provide this opportunity for a better society.
