Demand more sanitary inspections of Spanish pig farms!

"Salvados", a famous Spanish TV show, has just revealed in its last program the serious abuses that are taking place in Spanish pig farms. Food companies like El Pozo are selling the meat from farms where animals live crowded together in unsanitary conditions, where they are massively treated with antibiotics and mixed with sick animals with malformations that are also intended for human consumption.

Apparently, these pig farms do not meet European and Spanish legislation on health, safety and animal welfare. But the Spanish Government is doing nothing to check it: there are almost no sanitary inspections coordinated by the Spanish Agency of Consumer, Food Safety and Nutrition to check the conditions of animal breeding in these farms.

Through this petition, I want to ask the Ministry of Health to perform the necessary inspections on pig farms through the Food Safety Agency to ensure compliance with animal welfare and consumer safety legislation. Sign it now and join your voice.
