Why Were Dozens of Cats Dumped in the Arabian Desert?

Over 100 cats were found abandoned in the Arabian Desert left to die, and no one knows why. Tragically 50 of the cats were already dead when they were found. Mysteriously, a majority of the cats had been microchipped and neutered, meaning they weren't strays.

It is time local authorities conduct a full investigation into what led to this disturbing scene. What could have possibly led to so many former pets being cast away to die like this?

Sign now to tell Abu Dhabi's Department of Municipalities and Transport to conduct a fair and thorough investigation into this crisis!

These poor creatures were not feral animals who could at least stand a chance at survival, but domesticated cats that had been through a shelter. Many of these cats were so recently neutered that they still had visible stitches. This means that the cats had homes, or were about to have homes. Why would someone ever do this to cats that were so recently adopted -- or on the verge of adoption?

It is unclear how, or why, anyone would commit such an atrocity and kill and endanger so many innocent animals. And this is exactly why local authorities must investigate it.

Justice for these poor cats! Abu Dhabi's Department of Municipalities and Transport must get to the bottom of this tragedy!
