Demand for new indoor skatepark Waterford

Hello I’m here today writing to you about how my local skatepark in Waterford city is not up to date and isn’t enough for the users of the park. The area is a rough unsafe place that can only be used 5 months a year as the Irish weather isn’t suitable for the park all year round. I’m here writing this to you as we need a facility that can be used all year round that is suitable for kids/teens/adults. In order for that to happen we need a indoor skatepark that the public can use during all four seasons while being in a safe controlled environment. The people that use the skatepark we have now have been trying to get this message to the council for almost 4 years and within those years not even as little as a bin was put into our local skatepark. I use the skatepark myself but unfortunately can’t use it all year round as it get flooded in the winter and autumn and the closest facility is two and a half hours away from waterford city Which is to far away for anyone that needs somewhere do practice skateboarding/scooters/skates/bmx etc.
It would really help a lot if you could sign this. It only takes 30 seconds and it you will be really helping out our locals as well as creating a safe controlled area that the public can use and enjoy all year round.
