Protect Alligators Like Fluffy. Ban Exotic Animal Ownership in Pennsylvania!

An adorable alligator named Fluffy was rescued from a creek in Pennsylvania, many miles away from typical crocodile or alligator habitat. And thank goodness she was found, because the conditions the poor creature was living in were appalling.

Fluffy's owner had been keeping her trapped in a 75-gallon tank, which is basically torture for an animal of her size. Reptile experts said that Fluffy was both underweight and was showing signs of deformities around her mouth.

All of this is perfectly legal under Pennsylvania state law, which is exactly why it needs to change.

Sign now to demand the Pennsylvania legislature pass a statewide law banning exotic animal ownership!

When Fluffy was found, she was 10 years old and only 2.5 feet long. Typically, alligators her age are at least six feet. This type of stunted growth is almost certainly the result of years of abuse and malnourishment, which is exactly why civilians should not own exotic animals in the first place. There is a simple solution to this tragic case: ban exotic animal ownership in the state of Pennsylvania.

It is time Pennsylvania legislators protect other reptiles and amphibians from this kind of horrific treatment! Sign now if you agree!
