For the past seven years I have witnessed Macon County wrongfully convicting people of crimes based on "hear say" which is legally wrong because the law does not allow a judge to convict a person of a crime without having factual evidence. However, many people have had an bad experience fighting cases in Macon County to the point people have just learned to adjust to this crooked justice system and just accept it. However, many people feel there is nothing they can do to get justice but that is not true there are agencies that work to help people fight for their rights although the process may take some time at least in the end Justice will be served in your favor.
I feel it's time for us to take a stand for what we believe in and what's right we have been putting up with this unfair justice system for years and the sad part about it is if we don't take a stand now there is no later this has been going on for way too long. As citizens of Macon County we all have rights and there are ways judges can be punished for participating in misconduct it is against the law and legally wrong for a judge to participate in unconstitutional practices it is unfair and unacceptable.
Furthermore, because Macon County is a small town almost everyone knows everyone. Everyone grew up together, went to school together, work together, some are related, and a conflict of interest due to marriage. Everyone shop at the same stores, resides in some of the same areas, and attend the same events because Decatur do not have much too offer. Anyway for example: Just because a Judge and State's Attorney are very closely acquainted does not give them the right to abuse their Power of Authority to work together in favor of one another to wrongfully charge and convict the innocent for their own selfish reasons or personal gain. Please help me Start a trend to put an end to this prejudice town all you got to do is take stand just give it a chance one person cant take the stand alone we all have to unite and fight for our rights the only way we can relieve our heartache, suffering, and pain is with Justice being served to those who have abused, misused, and violated your rights.
