We at NAMA (National Alliance for Medication Assisted Recovery) understand the absolute need for an outpatient substance abuse treatment center in Morristown, TN. As of this moment, the powers that be in Morristown have made it almost impossible for this to happen by spreading untruth, outright lies- therefore allowing the general public to believe that opening a treatment center would "bring unwanted trouble in and around the proposed area".
Our people are already in trouble.
Sadly, we all know that there are no treatment centers in Morristown. We support the opening of ReVida Recovery, which is a comprehensive behavioral health organization that focuses on changing the lives of those that are addicted to opioids. No medicine is dispensed on location.
It's PAST time for us to support an organization that SAVES LIVES in our home town. Your signature will go to show the Mayor of Morristown, Gary Chesney, that it's time to care for our people. We are at epidemic status for opioid addiction in Tennessee and Morrisrown is NOT exempt from that horror. Our people deserve help. Please stand with me.
