Donald Trump's reign of terror is coming to a decisive end. With likely more than 300 electors, a several million vote edge, an edge of at least a four million votes, five flipped states, and the most votes of any candidate in U.S. history, President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will take office on January 20, 2021.
President-elect Biden has overcome tragedy to rise to the highest office in the land. Even those who differ with him on policy acknowledge that he is a genuinely good person. A stark contrast to the grim last four years.
Vice President-elect Harris — the first woman, Black American, and Indian American to win on a national ticket — has inspired people around the world as an example that barriers can and must be broken by good people fighting to make the world a better place.
Soon, we will be asking for specific policies and initiatives from these two Democrats. But for now, we say thank you for returning genuine role models to the White House.
Please join us in saying congratulations Joe and Kamala! You've made history and restored democracy in America.
