SAVE THE JÄGERHAUS!
And other family owned businesses in the center at Ball Road and Sunkist!
Jägerhaus has proudly served the Anaheim community for almost 40 years. We have loyal patrons who often tell us that their parents brought them to the restaurant when they were children, and now they are bringing their grandchildren into our family friendly dining. We have numerous service clubs that make use of our free banquet room for weekly, monthly or even quarterly meetings that serve the community on a number of issues. Jägerhaus is a proud member of the community and donates catering to a number of educational, charitable and service events every year. Many of our employees have been working here for over 20 years and Jägerhaus is, of course, owned and operated by Sandie Schwaiger, not a big corporation or franchise but a local award-winning restaurateur.
Recently we've learned that there are plans from the Golcheh Group of Los Angeles to (A) demolish the existing site and build a carwash complex with a gas station and 7-Eleven on the land or (B) to squeeze in an additional structure in the area that is currently used for parking for the Jägerhaus Restaurant.
Either of these options will result in the restaurant and other family-owned small businesses in the center at Ball Road and Sunkist either moving or closing.
