Stop The Madness: No New Gas Tax

California's infrastructure is crumbling and Governor Jerry Brown is suggesting a new gas tax of .12 cents per gallon and increased vehicle registration fees to pay for repairs. California is already paying more for gas than other state in the nation and we pay more in taxes than most states. Furthermore, Jerry Brown continues to provide funding for the Bullet Train and the Delta Tunnels project, both of which are non-essential and frivolous spending. Rather than increasing taxes on an already overtaxed population Jerry Brown should cancel the Bullet Train and Delta Tunnels projects and put the monies into essential infrastructure projects.
