OPEN A RE-ENTRY RESOURCE CENTER

Each year hundreds of inmates return from prison or County jail seeking a fresh start in the community to reconnect with family, redirect and restart their lives There is no where these formerly incarcerated individuals can go to get this services and resources. The center will provide a variety roadmap of services and resources that will address their issues, such as employment assistance, housing assistance and referrals, substance abuse, family reunification, GED, vocation training referrals, mental health, Life skills, bus tokens and etc.
The SING Resource Center will be located at 1933 East cedar street. We will not be housing any ex-offender at the center. The center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 2:30pm.
We understand that you might have some concerns pertaining to the safety of the community as well as your well being. First of all, we are prohibit from providing service to any offender who have committed a sex offense . There will be no hanging out in front of the Center, no gun ,alcohol or drugs allowed on the center property at no time, if so the police will be called.
Please keep this in mind, these individuals is somebody dad, mom, sister, brother
