Demand California DMV STOP OVER CHARGING CAR REGISTRATION FEES

I received a notice from CA Department Of Motor Vehicles informing me that I have to pay $287.00 to register my 2016 car. I am a widow and am on a fixed income, with no savings account. I live month to month and receive no food card, have to pay a portion for my medication and receive an increase from Social Security of a dollar a year. My widows pension increased $20.00. After paying my car payment, car insurance, phone, my storage that holds everything I own and worked my whole life for, our government wants to take what I have left of $950.00 and charge out rages prices to register my car. Ca. charges the highest price in the United States. It is time we all ban together and stop these money hungry people from taking money we don't have.
