Justice for Seattle Dog Thrown from Minivan

  • by: Care2 Team

Even in a world where animal abuse is all too common, this Seattle dog's story is heartbreaking,

On September 24, 2017, an unknown man tossed an "ailing" American pit-bull terrier from a purple minivan, abandoning the dog to die on the street in violation of animal cruelty laws.

This unfortunate animal didn't survive — and the animal abuser is still at large. The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for this Seattle dog's death, but we believe that a larger Seattle police effort would increase the likelihood that this killer is ultimately brought to justice.

Animal cruelty is a serious crime — and needs to be treated as such. Sign this petition to call on Seattle Chief of Police Kathleen O'Toole and other city officials to do whatever it takes to find the person responsible, charge them with animal cruelty, and prosecute them the fullest extent of the law.
