Put "Nation of Immigrants" Back in US Immigration Agency's Mission Statement

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) just took out a reference to the U.S. as a "nation of immigrants" from their mission statement. The U.S. is a nation of immigrants and small changes like this just serve a nationalist, racist ideology.

Sign my petition if you want USCIS to put the reference to the U.S. as a nation of immigrants back in their mission statement!

This is a typical Trump era change, people in power making changes that ultimately support white nationalism. The fact is: this is a nation of immigrants and to take that out of the mission statement of the entity that manages the beaurocracy of immigration signals a very nationalist agenda. It's scary because these are the people in charge of managing immigration, we need to know they actually have American values at heart.

The whole idea of America was to invite immigrants from other places and all work together to make a great nation. To change this is literally anti-American.

Sign on if you see America as a nation of immigrants and want to keep it that way.
