These Daycare Teachers Ran a "Fight Club" for 4-Year-Olds

The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. Unless of course, your Fight Club involves 4-year-olds. Then it's called child abuse and you should absolutely talk about it — preferably with the authorities.

A disturbing video just surfaced showing preschoolers fighting in their classroom, as teachers Mickala Guliford and Tena Dailey watch and even encourage them. The incident took place at the Adventure Learning Center in St. Louis, Missouri and was caught on film by a child's older brother.

The teachers said that the children "were bored" and that the daycare "ran out of things to do," but that is absolutely no excuse. The mother of one child, who filed a lawsuit against the daycare, says that her son was "very afraid" from the incident and didn't understand why his friends were allowed to beat him up. And rightly so. These teachers were responsible for caring for the children, not pitting them against each other.

The teachers have been fired and the daycare has implemented better training for teachers, but that is not enough. These teachers should have known better.

That's why we're calling on St. Louis police to investigate the incident and file appropriate charges for endangering these children.
