Samuel Bell coached, taught mentored, and inspired faculty, students, and staff at Harnett Central High School in the County of Harnett N.C. from 1977 to 2008 before retiring. Let's honor him for the fundamentals of the game and determination in life he's instilled in many of us.
We, former and present students, players, colleagues, fans, and community members of Harnett Central High School ask the Superintendent or the person serving in this capacity and the Harnett County Board of Education to Honor Coach Samuel “Sam” Bell by naming the Track and Field facility at Harnett Central High School after Coach Bell.
We believe it is long overdue and proper that this man be recognized for his years of serving, training, and encouraging as he worked in this community. During Coach Bell years of contributing to this school and especially the athletic system he helped students in this school district succeed through financial contributions and educational leadership.
