Tell Pope Francis to stand up for Palestine!

Pope Francis should recall Israel's ambassador to the Vatican, and cut all diplomatic ties with Israel unless or until they end the illegal occupation of internationally recognized Palestinian territory, Israel ends its indescriminate bombing of Palestinian civilian homes and infrastructure, ends its blockade on Gaza, and releases all Palestinian political prisoners held in administrative detention indefinitely, and without criminal charge. Israel must also end all illegal settlement activity as stated under international law, and grant right of return and/or mutually agreed upon just compensation to those Palestinians who were illegally dispossessed of their land and homes due to Israeli occupation, and the 1948 founding of the State of Israel. All Arabs citizens in Israel must be granted equality with Jewish Israeli citizens. Israel must commit to a just and lasting peace treaty with the State Of Palestine, respect Pre-1967 internationally recognized borders, and any mutually agreed upon land swaps that are agreed upon by both parties, and respect the Palestinian States'complete sovereignty and independence.

Pope Francis is an internationally respected authority on morality, social justice, human rights, and peace, and as the Vicar Of Christ, and head of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, he has a responsibility and moral obligation to stand up for peace and justice and human rights. He must speak truth to power and lend a voice to the weak, oppressed, and marginalized.
