Save Tropical Wings Now

The Renowned Zoo (although more a Sanctuary and wildlife park)in Essex UK, Tropical Wings is Closing due to ill health of the owners and possibly Property Developer offers or pressures, although this has not been confirmed.

We believe that this closure is both unacceptable and that not all avenues have been explored to save this little Gem, the staff and so many people are so upset
The solution - to raise money through crowd funding via an ICO - Initial Coin Offering or similar Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency campaign. Which can raise millions in hours. Please help - information, advice and signing this petition will be greatly appreciated

Having spoken to the local council I can confirm they have never had any issues with animal welfare at this wonderful family run and family orientated, well and passionately run little paradise. So much good has been achieved for animals and children here. We cannot let it go!

Its not just about the animals. This is no ordinary business or attraction - apart from the enormaous value it brings to children in allowing them to be able to connect with wildlife, we are also loosing a string of very specilized jobs. And, this is also a tourism business, bringing in up to a £1000 000 in revenue for the county each year

Notes to comments: the battle to save wildlife in the wild is being lost at a dismal rate - if you think snares, poachers, poisons, habitat destruction, specie senescence and illegal trafficking is better than captivity then I have to tell you, you are wrong. The only reason the Sumatran Tapir, the Panda, the Snow Leopard, the Bald Eagle and the Gaboon Adder arguably still exist and are not extinct is because of captivity. This planet has lost half of all insect life, nearly half of all amphibians, half of all mammals register an 80% habitat loss as of 2015 - these are extremely important aspects of the natural environment. We are living in the midst of the the Holocene Mass Extinction Event - humans are causing this, and humans can stop it. But let's say 'who cares about stupid anamals' Let's talk about something then, that's very clever. Let's talk about viruses. Here before complex life like humans and will be here long after. We are again loosing the battle against, to name but a few, viruses like Rabies, Ebola (each outbreak is always bigger than the last) and HIV (the biggest killer virus on the planet currently) Now, if viruses are so clever, do we think they are just going to to roll over and die out when all or most of the animals are gone - oooh  my vector (host specie) has just died out or been wiped out like the passenger pigeon, so lm just going to die out myself.  No viruses are going to come over to us - they are already doing it. HIV did not exist in the brothels of Victorian England, Rabies did not exist in America and Ebola was completely unheard of. Our Environment is very very valuable.

The scientists conclude: "The resulting biological annihilation, obviously, will have serious ecological, economic and social consequences. Humanity will eventually pay a very high price for the decimation of the only assemblage of life that we know of in the universe."

Update #16 years ago
After a deeply saddening response from one of the owners we are having to change direction slightly.
Who would have thought we were doing the wrong thing caring about, the Animals, some of whom might very well not make it through their moves, the Value to Children this park offers and the Value of the Specialized Jobs this park supports and the Value to our Tourism Revenue. And, Simply, the importance of a Satisfactory Explanation for the closure when the Council have no issues with this park
