URGENT: BLM Advisory Board votes to slaughter 44,000 beautiful captured Wild Horses in holding.

DO NOT KILL THOSE BEAUTIFUL HORSES!!!

They are living creatures and have a right to live. Do not slaughter them. Set them free on the wilderness lands and let them live and thrive. They are a beautiful part of our heritage, and as such, deserve to continue to be a part of our future.

Breaking News!

The Bureau of Land Management’s Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board has just voted in favor of killing all the wild horses currently in short-term and long-term holding, approximately 45,000 horses. The only 'no' vote on the Advisory Board was from Ginger Kathrens of the Cloud Foundation.

Being extremely fond of euphemisms, the BLM Advisory Board used the term “euthanasia,” which is incorrect.

Definition of Euthanasia: “the act or practice of killing or permitting the death of hopelessly sick or injured individuals (as persons or domestic animals) in a relatively painless way for reasons of mercy.”  This is in fact murder, not euthanasia.

The intent behind the Advisory Board's vote was to send a strong message to the BLM leadership that the horses should be slaughtered. This is BLM’s endgame for our wild horses.

Please sign this petition to the BLM Leadership telling them not to honor the Advisory Board's vote to destory these beautiful horses.

Then share this petition with family and friends, and ask them to share it as well so this petition gets around.

You can also tell Dean Bolstad what you think: dbolstad@blm.gov

Then call Sally Jewell, Secretary of the Interior: (202) 208-3100

Then write your Congressmen and Senators.

Thank Ginger Kathrens for standing strong in the face of such complete and utter disregard for the interests of our wild horses and burros: Info@thecloudfoundation.org.

You can also send comments to the Advisory Board ASAP at this address: whbadvisoryboard@blm.gov
And email the bloody-minded Advisory Board individually as well:

I tried sending a star to all of you who signed, but happily, the petition signatures grew so fast and continue to do so that it was hard to keep up. So, I am sending one great big star to al of you for signing and sharing. I appreciate every one of you.

If you haven't signed, please take the opportunity to do so now, and please share. Thank you.

It's inspiring to see so many signatures about this vital issue. Please continue to spread the word and if you haven't signed it, please do so. I want to send this petition to the BLM with thousands and thousands of signatures so there is no doubt that their so-called solution is neither humane nor acceptable.
