Stop abusing wildlife!

There is a beautiful wooded area with a river which has been subdivided and sold as individual lots. In that subdivision where wilderness abounds, there is a home with a responsible owner and another one in the process of being built. Although it is in no way a hunting ground, a number of tree stands have been built, corn scattered in mounds, and animals slaughtered and left to rot often by the road, no matter what they are. Three llamas were dumped there last June. None of the authorities called to report the problem bothered to investigate and write a report. Finally, Animal Control said to call trasnportation to pick them up.
When I came home from my trip and went to check it out, a few jaw bones, ribs and leg bones were all that was left. Not too far from them were a few animals that at that time were not recognizable. They also had been left there to rot. Shortly before Christmas, I found a very young female fox. Her stomach had been ripped open witha  knife and her tail was missing. All her insides wewre showing. She was still warm. Can you imagine the pain she endured at the hands of irresponsible characters? The property owner/president is old and lives in SC. He will not come back. He said hunting and dumping there was illegal are those are building lots. Nobody cares. I am sure that this happens all over the country. The animals have no right and they are often killed when the hunting season is over. Those wild areas are covered with garbage that builders and private parties dump there not to have to travel to the local dump. It is a complete disgrace. Who cares?

Please, tell your local goverment that you want stricter laws to protect our widlife and ground water. People caught dumping just anywhere and killing wildlife illegally MUST pay a very HIGH fine, clean up and do community service. They should go to jail and take a course on wildlife management. Wildlife is for everyone's enjoyment and it will not last forever. There are 9 billion people on earth. How will they find food when the wildlife is all gone? Why should they take that away from us if we prefer to watch them and see them better protected? Are we a nation of cruel, pointless savages?
