Donald Trump and his attorneys are pushing hard to move his trial for 2020 election crimes from DC to West Virginia—and there's no way in hell we should let that happen.

Trump's crimes were committed in DC, and that's where his trial should take place—something the 6th amendment to the constitution makes clear.

Trump is clearly hoping to move the trial to a state he won overwhelmingly, but that's not his call to make. Defendants charged with crimes don't get to cherry-pick their venues.

Trump's is set to be tried in DC, and that's where his trial should remain.
