Demand for Campus Parking Option for Students with School Related Internships.

Dear University Officials, and whom else it may concern,

Students who live on campus and have an internship or student teaching through the school that leave up to over an hour before all campus services open for the day (usually leaving 5:30-7:00), have to inconveniently walk up to 20 minutes to go all the way to South Lot just to go get their car. If the car will be moved before day students/commuters even arrive for classes, the parking spots that these cars here in the morning will take do NOT interfere with parking spot limitations when classes are in session. We need an option for the students in this situation to be able to park closer to their buildings. This walk wastes up to 20 minutes of planning/work time in the mornings, in addition to the possibly lengthy commute to their workplace.
This option should only be limited to students taking these career boosting opportunities through the school's requirements. If Westfield State University Credits are being given through the internship, then these students are living as a commuter of sorts. Another decal option should be available as an overnight sticker that states that these cars can be parked in a commuter parking spot until around 7:30 when commuters begin to fill the lot.
