Many people thought Elon Musk must have been high when he and his DOGE team started randomly firing federal employees (including critical ones who oversaw nuclear weapons), shutting down essential projects, and taking other steps that just seemed bonkers.
Well, it turns out those people may have been right. According to a NYT Times investigation, Musk was using so much Ketamine on the campaign trail that he started having bladder issues. Which we didn't even know was a thing. And that may have been just one of many drugs he was taking.
What Musk does in privacy, on his own time, is his business.
But if he was still downing pills in Sasquatch-sized batches when he was driving the DOGE effort, and making utterly irrational decisions, there's no way in hell we should follow his lead as he drives us off a cliff. Congress needs to immediately reverse Musk's actions, hire back employees who were let go, and reject any additional DOGE cuts being considered.
