The world will soon be in a crisis. With climate change, garbage pollution, bigger more common natural disasters, we need to make a change. Banning plastic straws is just the start of a progressive movement to save the world. Plastic is a huge problem and takes many years to biodegrade. Infant, plastic never biodegrades, it turns into micro pieces of plastic that will soon be everywhere, even in our food. There are many cheap plastic straw alternatives there are single use and biodegrade besides paper straws, which I know is a concern for many. There are actually single use straw options that are almost identical to plastic straws. In order to save the future we need to act now in the present.
