Save the Fish. Stop the Dynamite

Dynamite fishing is the destructive practice of setting off explosives underwater. The blast kills all the surrounding fish in the area, for the fishermen to scoop them up. This largely affects the population of fish, and the surrounding ecosystems related to it, for example, coral reefs in the area. Although this is illegal in most countries, lack of enforcement has made it easy to circumvent this and continue with these practices in the Southeast Asia region. These activities will go unabated without the world's awareness. Help us put a stop to this. Save the fish.

Although dynamite fishing is illegal in most countries, it is still commonly practiced in the Southeast Asia region. Many people circumvent these laws and ares still free to continue with this harmful exercise. Save the fish. Stop the dynamite.

Not only does it kill many marine life, it also damages the corals in the area. An average bomb used for blast fishing leaves a 50 meter diameter hole, destroying up to 80% of the coral structure in the area. It takes years for coral to grow back, and the rate that we are destroying the ocean is unsustainable. Help us save the fish. Stop the dynamite.
