Petition To Allow Our Flags on Lincoln Street

(Photo shown is from a Huffington Post article about our town.)

Do you remember the fun & festive flags we had hanging across our street last summer? Well, we need your help! That was an initiative put on by us (Dots & Loops) and our neighbour shops (Jenny Jib & Down Home Living) and our request to rehang the flags this season has been denied. We know that you loved them and want to show the town, so please sign our petition and please share this post to help spread the word!

To All Members of Lunenburg Town Council,

We, the signers of this petition, would like you to reconsider your denial of the request to rehang the flags on Lincoln Street. The flags were a much loved addition to the town and helped to draw visitors to the section of town where they were placed. They were an inviting welcome to the town where motorists passed under them and were one of the most photographed parts of the town. The images created were widely shared on social media and helped to draw attention to our town.

The flags were an investment by the businesses involved to improve their part of the town and the businesses involved did not enter into this investment thinking that it would only be permitted by the town for one season. They would like permission to have the flags become a permanant fixture of their part of town.

We thank you for your reconsideration of your decision.
