Don't block access to our neighborhood!

NCDOT's plans for widening Providence Rd. includes eliminating left turns into Waxhaw's Camberley subdivision off of Providence Rd. Instead they will install “Michigan left turns.” This means you would drive a few blocks past the neighborhood and make a U-turn to get into the neighborhood. I discussed this with the NCDOT staff and they said that there is room to put a left turn into the neighborhood if there is enough pressure on them to do so.

This petition is soliciting your support for the inclusion of a left turn into Camberley subdivision from Providence Rd in NCDOTs Providence Rd (TIP Project No. U-5769) plans. This petition will be delivered to the Waxhaw Commissioners, the NCDOT and any other relevant organizations.
