UPDATE!! Chen Guangcheng is begging the U.S. to grant him and his family asylum in the United States because he feels they will be killed otherwise! Please take action now.
Chen Guangcheng, a blind, Chinese attorney/activist is on the run for his life after escaping a brutal house arrest inflicted on him by corrupt Chinese officials. Chen, an outspoken critic of forced abortions and sterilizations in China was illegally taken prisoner along with his entire family.
During this time they were continually and severely beaten and denied medical care.
Chen escaped to the U.S. Embassy but was unable to take his family. He was recently reunited with his wife, child and elderly mother but none have escaped danger.
Please allow Chen Guangcheng and his family asylum in the United States--before it's too late.
Dear Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,
Please call on the Chinese Government to protect Chen Guangcheng and his family and allow them to stay in the safety of the U.S. Embassy as long as necessary!
