STOP Tracy J McGill's Request for Clemency/Parole

In loving memory of and respect for Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour, we the undersigned pray and petition to block consideration for clemency and/or parole for Tracy J McGill.

Mr. McGill confessed to two counts of first degree murder for shooting two young women Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour and accepted a plea bargain of two life sentences without parole in order to avoid possibly of capital punishment.  The overview of his petition for clemency claims this is an attempt to make ammends to  Jessica Smith, Jessica Ridenour, their families, my family, friends, community, and the State of Oklahoma.  Mr McGill's petition claims one wrong turn should not negate the whole life of Mr. McGill.  We say one wrong turn should not negate the whole lives of Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour.  No amount of therapy, rehabilitation, or good choices while incarcerated will in any way make amends to either family.  The only way to make any amends for taking the lives of these young women is to remain incarcerated in accordance to the punishment for which he bargained.

We believe and support the Memory of Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour who are no longer with us.

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for taking time to support our cause.

Jessica Ridenour and Jessica Smith

We the undersigned are issuing this petition in attempt to stop any action taken on behalf of Tracy J McGill to gain clemency and/or parole for the July 26, 2000 murders of Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mr. McGill confessed to murdering both Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour and pled guilty of two counts first degree murder.  He accepted two life sentences without possibility of parole in lieu of a jury trial and avoided the possibility of capital punishment in these shootings.  Now less than 11 years into his two life sentences he is requesting clemency and/or parole.

Mr. McGill's petition for clemency and/or parole lists the two following reasons: #1 His petition states that "one wrong turn  not negate the whole life of Mr. McGill.  And #2 as stated in his petition overview:  is an attempt to make ammends to  Jessica Smith, Jessica Ridenour, their families, my family, friends, community, and the State of Oklahoma.

In response, we offer that his wrong turn should not negate the lives of two innocent women, Jessica Smith and Jessica Ridenour.  In no way would his being released from his sentence make amends to our family, our friends, our community or the State of Oklahoma. As stated in our petition: No amount of therapy, rehabilitation, or good choices while incarcerated will in any way make amends to either family.  The only way to make any amends for taking the lives of these two young women is to remain incarcerated in accordance to the punishment for which he bargained.

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for taking time to support our cause.

Jessica Ridenour and Jessica Smith
