Extreme pornography has now become freely accessible everywhere. At home, at school, in the library...Many magazines publish articles about teenagers being addicted to porn, about 'sexting'; there are more and more cases of extreme violence towards women, of divorces due to one partner's excessive use of pornography.
We now hear about bestiality specialist websites and consequently animal brothels are opening up everywhere. There are more and more cases of child abuse coming to light yet many porn sites have links to videos with captions such as: co-ed webcam, abused babysitter, barely 18 - almost illegal.....the list goes on and on.
Pornography can make the most depraved act seem normal, such is the power of the media and of those busy marketing such websites. A whole generation is coming of age thinking that double anal penetration, for example, is normal. That women enjoy being humiliated and violated. It is time the education system faced up to the fact that they need to teach their students that it is not the way to conduct a relationship; that this depiction of so-called normal sex is far from normal.
