Hello, my name is Charisma Lauralie Castellaw, I am a 2020 graduating senior at William R. Boone High School. I am writing today to express my aggravation, concerns, and possible solution to this problem that all 2020 seniors are feeling and going through.
I understand that with this virus there are limitations to what needs to be done to prevent this virus from multiplying and spreading. Yet at the same time I owe it to myself and my fellow high school seniors to stand up and make our voice heard about our want and need.
As seniors in high school we have earned the rights to enjoy and school year to the fullest, including the following events:
- Prom,
- senior day,
- class assemblies,
- graduation, for
- William R. Boone Highschool Grad Bash.
Along with senior events we have to think about our class government. They deserves to have the same opportunities as any other senior class government every other year. This includes
- to have fun
- make the senior class have the best time ever.

- prom,
- Grad Bash
- speaking at graduation
In addition to our government, you cannot forget our valedictorians. What about their hard work, we can not let their hard work go unnoticed and unrecognized, four long years of hard of work to bring them to this day where they can give a wonderful speech about us moving forward in our lives.
And let me put an emphasis on graduation day. It's the marking of a new chapter in all high school senior lives. We deserve our last day together to celebrate and commute as one class, just the same as our first day of high school freshmen year. We are not ready to let this go without a fight.
I propose that we are allowed to have our senior graduation online so we as seniors are official 2020 senior graduates but in addition have a designated official graduation day where we are able to walk across an official stage, so our senior government and valedictorians will have their opportunities to have their final words. We should also still be allowed to have our proms, Grad Bash and other senior activities rescheduled. This is our right of passage! Don't let them take it away and don't let fear invade! So pleases 2020 seniors and parents, please help me get the signature we need and say NO to Caronoaviurs. We Will endure. Thank you!
