Fund Wings Rescue Center

The City of Rockport must help injured and abandoned birds in Rockport by supporting the work of Wings Rescue Center. Wings Rescue Center is asking that the city provide funding for the rescue and care of a maximum of 143 birds ($5,005) in the next twelve months. In less than seven months Wings Rescue Center has taken in 81 birds from Rockport. Many of these birds are able to return to Rockport after rehabilitation. It is imperative that the City of Rockport help Wings Rescue Center.

Wings Rescue Center has rescued more than 81 birds in Rockport since April 1. It costs $35 for veterinary services and care, fees currently paid by volunteers and donors.


The City of Rockport should do its part to help injured and abandoned birds in Rockport by supporting the work of Wings Rescue Center. Wings Rescue Center is asking that the city provide funding for the rescue and care of a maximum of 143 birds ($5,005) in the next twelve months. Many of these birds are able to return to Rockport after rehabilitation. It is imperative that the City of Rockport help Wings Rescue Center, especially as we work towards steady and regular funding from grants and donors and build a local rehabilitation center. This funding is critical to the success of Wings Rescue Center and the health of our local birds.
