Support the TEAPA Act to Ban Wild Animals From U.S. Circuses!

On April 30th, Congressman Jim Moran introduced a bill called the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act (TEAPA) that would end the use of exotic and wild animals in U.S. travelling circuses.

Numerous videos and photos show how circus animals are abused and neglected behind the scenes. Trainers use painful tools like bullhooks and stun guns to force them to comply, and the animals are typically kept in cramped, uncomfortable conditions with no medical care for most of the time they aren't performing.

30 other countries have passed similar legislation, and it is time for the United States to get with the times. Please sign the petition to support the TEAPA act and end the use and abuse of wild animals in U.S. circuses!

On April 30th, Congressman Jim Moran introduced a bill called the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act (TEAPA) that would end the use of exotic and wild animals in U.S. travelling circuses.

As you probably know, numerous videos and photos show how circus animals are abused and neglected behind the scenes. Trainers use painful tools like bullhooks and stun guns to force them to comply, and the animals are typically kept in cramped, uncomfortable conditions with no medical care for most of the time they aren't performing.

30 other countries have passed similar legislation, and we believe it is time for the United States to get with the times. We respectfully urge you to pass the TEAPA act and end the use and abuse of wild animals in U.S. circuses!
