This Petition is for Community Residents within City in the Hills area whom demand that the City of Bakersfield (Planning Dept. 661-326-3733) and Global Investment and Development, LLC (213-365-0005) cease and desist on any potential Subdivision of Land on this 11.32 gross acre lot originally advertised as a Planned Park for the immediate City In The Hills community. None of the residents were asked what they wanted, only expected to show up at a barely announced meeting.
Smaller homes can cause the property value of mid to larger sized homes in the immediate area to drop, thereby creating a decrease in resale value. Smaller homes could also potentially draw unwanted activities to the community, such as crime, undesirable noise and have a larger impact on traffic and safety. Moreover, more homes will take from the advertised aesthetics of a promised community park. Some time ago, there were also members within the community who staged a previous Petition Drive for this same area.
Please sign this Cease and Desist Petition to Stop the Advancement of any Tract or Non-park Development to be placed on City in the Hills Lot APN 531-012-04.
