The business of real fur is renowned for its cruelty. Animals are kept caged, trapped using leg-hold traps, drowning sets, (etc.), killed by lethal injection, neck-breaking, suffocation, beating, gassing or poisoning for their skins. Alligators 🐊, crocodiles 🐊, snakes 🐍 and other reptiles are also abused for their skins. Cows may be skinned whilst still conscious. Dogs 🐶, too, are sometimes killed for their skins.
Many fashion designers, celebrities and companies, such as Matalan, Stella McCartney and others, are oppose to fur/have policies against it. Why is eBay still selling real fur and other animal skins?
EBay should no longer be part of these cruel businesses. Please stop selling real skins ASAP.
