Stop cruel murders of dogs in Russia

  • by: Yulia Smirnova
  • recipient: Government of Russian Federation, President Vladimir Putin

Regularly perverts calling themselves as "doghunters" kill hundreds of dogs in different parts of Russia.

They catch stray dogs on streets and cruelty torture them, then kill. They poison domestic dogs with poisoned meat in the parks.

Those mentally sick people have plenty of pages on the internet, you can find them in social networks, they openly write on the forums.

Unfortunately, a huge problem in Russia is the lack of law and procedures by which one could fight with these atrocities. Russia needs a law providing severe punishment for harming animals.

Russia also needs a law on chipping and registration of all domestic dogs and cats, as well as providing punishment when a pet owner wants to kick his pet out to suffer from hunger and cold.

Help to draw attention of the Russian government and the President to the high importance of resolving these issues.
