We, the undersigned would like to see a quick resolve to our current state of our Police Department issues that are currently affecting our City.
We, as tax paying citizens,need some answers as to why we have three top ranking officers off on paid administrative leave, at the same time, with no time frame as to when this will come to an end. We are left in the dark by those we have elected to represent us, with no explanation. We keep hearing this is a 'personnel issue'. If so, these city employees need "due process" in a timely manner. They need to know what it is they are dealing with. If there is something there that warrants discipline, then let's hear it. If no, let's get them back on the job. The longer this lingers on, the more this is costing the city - the taxpayers of this community. Not to mention the bad public image we are creating for our community.
