art education for new england college

having an art education program here at New England College would greatley benifit not only the college but every one trying to become an art teacher as well. NEC already has an outstanding education Program that gives students the hands on experience of becoming teachers. The art program prepares students for their field except those trying to becom art teachers. if this program were to become apert of NEC it would guide and alllow students to have more knowledge and feel better prepared for teaching. The only thing missing is NEC has yet to combine these two majors and allow students to learn, focus and have a better understanding of becoming an art teacher and if that is the right fit for those thinkiong of becoming art teachers.
