Oregon Wolves Aimed Towards Slaughtering

It's odd since Zinke, Secretary of the Interior, poked by Trump who is pro-rancher (money there), decided to fly west, go through Oregon, and the timing seems very coincidental as we have recently had Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) speeding up to have more kills made on wolves such as with the Harl Butte Pack in Wallowa County. This pack lives in the same area where ODFW also killed 4 wolves from the Imnaha Pack in March 2016. OR-7, the famous traveling wolf descended from that pack. Let's keep our fingers crossed nothing will happen to his family. It is a known fact that ranchers bait wolves in order to have them kill their cattle stock. There were photos of them tying up old or sickly cattle to posts in wolf countries to have them attack such cattle. Or they tie large carcasses on their fences to lure the wolves towards their cattle. There was a photo of that in the Oregonian, 3/10/2016. See photo. They do that so they can complain to ODFW. Hunters also don't like wolves as they prey on THEIR game of deer and elks. Whenever public land is used for baiting, taxpayers complained about the wolf killings so now it looks like a private land owner, who is also a rancher, is doing the same to avoid criticisms from tax payers. ODFW seems to weaken when dealing with rich cattlemen. Oregon used to have about 4000 wolves. Now it dwindled to about 100. Please sign this petition to save these native species in Oregon. Tell Governor Brown to increase pressure on Chair Michael Finley to recover and conserve Oregon wolves.
