Netflix: Fix the Gender Pay Disparity for Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda!

In 1980, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda co-starred in "Nine to Five," a comedy about three women who turn the tables on their sexist, bigoted boss, which showed sexism in the workplace in a bold new light.

Now, ironically, Tomlin and Fonda have revealed at a press event that despite their new Netflix show "Grace and Frankie" being directly centered around their two characters, they are being paid the same as the male supporting actors who play their ex-husbands.

This just goes to show that gender pay disparity is everywhere. But changes are being made incrementally in Hollywood. When Charlize Theron found out she was making less than her male counterpart in "Snow White and the Huntsman," she demanded the difference be remedied and WON.

Please sign this petition telling Netflix to remedy the pay disparity between Tomlin and Fonda and their male supporting actors.

Dear Decision Maker, News has been circulating about Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda discovering that they make the same pay as their supporting actors Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston, despite the show being centered around the female characters. Gender pay disparity is a big problem in this country, and I believe that Hollywood is one of the many areas in which this needs to be remedied. Please address this pay disparity immediately. Thank you for your time.
