There is a violent mob of Trump supporting insurrectionists occupying the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday, January 6th. They are vandalizing property and there are reports of shots fired.
And what did Trump say? "You're very special and we love you".
For hours, these violent insurrectionists broke windows, left violent written threats in Speaker Pelosi's office, climbed into the capitol building and more. And yet, there have been no arrests reported. What they are doing is illegal and dangerous. It is an assault on the United States. Why have police not started using the tactics we saw all summer against BLM protestors? These are lawless violent people and they are being allowed to riot freely and happily.
It's time to own up to the factual outcome of the November 2020 election: Trump must admit he lost the election and stop his dog-whistle rhetoric inciting violence amongst his supporters.
Enough is enough.
