Save the Market - Save the Music

The fight is not over - The Market lease is only good until January 31st.  No long term deal is in place yet and we need to get the support of the County Commissioners now!  Please sign our petition to keep The Wednesday Market at the St Johns County Pier Park! The Market revenue pays for the very popular Music by the Sea Concert Series - if the Market is closed or forced to relocate the economic benefits to our community could be drastically affected. Please continue to sign this petition, share it with friends and contact your St Johns County Commissioners and tell them the Market should stay at Pier Park - Save the Market - Save the Music - sign the petition today

We the undersigned recognize the importance of the Wednesday Market to the Saint Augustine Beach economy and its financial support of the Music by the Sea Concert Series. Combined the Market and Concert Series have a direct economic impact of over $400,000 and an indirect impact of 3.5 MILLION dollars!  Both events are important to the tourism industry and help make Saint Augustine Beach different from other communities.

We ask you Mr. Wanchick to reverse your decision and support the renewal of lease for The Wednesday Market at the Saint Johns County Pier Park.  Save the Market - Save the Music

Update #27 years ago
Thanks to your support, we have received a 6 month extension to keep the Market at Pier Park. This is step one to insure The Wednesday Market remains at Pier Park. Next we negotiate a long term contract and encourage the County to develop the easement on Pope Road west of A1A Beach Blvd for 74 new parking spaces. This will increase parking capacity within 1/3 mile of the beach and Pier Park. Please continue to have your friends and family sign our petition
