Ban Bullhooks and Animal Acts in San Antonio TX

Circuses that use animals as "entertainment" are as outdated as using a rotary telephone. This form of entertainment is filled with abuse towards tigers, elephants, horses, dogs, etc. Elephant "trainers" will use bullhooks hitting elephants in the most sensitive parts of their bodies - behind the ears, under the legs. Tiger trainers will use training "poles" to jab tigers in the face. Activists and advocates are asking city officials to follow Austin and New Braunfels to ban bullhooks which will be a step in ending abuse masquerading as entertainment.
